Business problem
The founding team had a licensed partner and a spreadsheet of merchants. They needed a production-shaped MVP: onboarding, ledger-friendly events, admin, and a public site that could pass a first due-diligence review.
Insight and solution
We shipped a typed API, Postgres schema, merchant admin, static marketing site, and an underwriting checklist workflow. No prototype rewrite was planned — the same stack is still in production.
Result
MVP live in 8 weeks. First 40 merchants onboarded without a second platform. Seed follow-on closed with the same codebase.
